In 2024 the FOOP Board of Directors was thrilled to announce the sale of engraved bricks to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Oakhurst neighborhood!

CHEERS TO 100 YEARS!

Each commemorative brick purchased was permanently set in a commemorative border and placed on display at the main entrance of Oakhurst Park for all to enjoy. This beautiful border honors past and present loved ones; dear friends; beloved pets; cherished family members; and great neighbors. This Commemorative Brick Project celebrating 100 years of the Oakhurst Neighborhood gave friends and neighbors the opportunity to celebrate  Oakhurst's past and be part of its future. Thank you to those neighbors who showed their love for Oakhurst Park and our neighborhood by purchasing a brick. Oakhurst Park is the heart of our neighborhood!  Net proceeds from this project will be used to maintain the beauty of Oakhurst Park for years to come.
