Fall Spruce Up 2016

Friends of Oakhurst Park (FOOP) supporters weathered 45-degree temperature to plant 30 flats of flowers in Oakhurst Park.  This was FOOP's inaugural project and will be held bi-annually.  Ann Zadeh, Oakhurst’s Fort Worth  City Council Representative was one of the first to arrive.

Staged as an interactive neighborhood project, Spruce Up Oakhurst Park had neighbors laughing and having fun with each other while working together to spiffy up Oakhurst Park.

​Prior to the project dates, Mark Buse and his landscape crew spent multiple days raking, cleaning the park, and preparing planting beds.

​FOOP "Friends' are devoted to the well-being of Oakhurst Park and happily donate their time, energy, and resources to make Oakhurst Park a safe and beautiful venue for families to play and the local neighborhood association to hold social events.
